Riverpark, developed through Federal Land Communities, is a multi-use, masterplanned township, offering a perfect blend of modern living and natural surroundings.
The Next Gen City of the South
A dynamic 600-hectare township in Cavite poised to provide smart living – lifestyle-enhancing developments in a landscape that integrates both river and park side experience.
The Riverpark masterplan presents a vision for a city south of Metro Manila, rooting 21st century Filipino families in an urban environment enhanced by the river and stream corridors of General Trias, Cavite.
This envisioned city is dedicated to promoting well-being by minimizing congestion and providing a thriving ecosystem of jobs, educational opportunities, amenities, and activities. It’s built around core guiding principles that prioritize a balanced and enriching urban experience.
City Outside a City: The concept emphasizes inclusive access to economic opportunities, jobs, services, and amenities, aiming to offer a self-contained urban experience.
Connectivity: With direct access to an expressway network ensuring fast and efficient road travel, Riverpark is designed with an integrated internal road network, offering various mobility options to residents and visitors.
Quality: Recognizable identity reflecting traditional and contemporary Filipino culture with the locality’s character. The planning includes a well-designed, attractive public realm that boasts a variety of spaces for different uses.
Innovation: This encompasses creating a digitally enabled city that embraces smart living and smart technology to enhance functionality and resilience.
Riverpark’s masterplan integrates diverse residential, commercial, and community facilities to create a vibrant, sustainable community. The development includes both horizontal and vertical residential options, catering to various market segments. Commercial spaces are strategically placed, such as SM City General Trias — a 67-thousand square meter (GFA) shopping center featuring shops and restaurants as the central hub of the township. This is also SM’s eighth mall in the Cavite province.
The Japanese District, developed by Federal Land NRE Global Inc., stands out with traditional architecture and specialty shops. Current developments are horizontal residential development, Yume at Riverpark, and a warehouse unit, Uniqlo Logistics Facility.
Institutional developments provide quality education, healthcare, and community services. Central to the township is a 70-hectare park with walking trails, sports fields, playgrounds, and picnic areas, encouraging outdoor recreation and social interaction. The masterplan also includes office spaces and other commercial buildings, ensuring a comprehensive mix of uses. This blend of residential comfort, commercial vitality, cultural richness, and ample green space creates a balanced and dynamic urban environment.
Reimagined Communities for Modern Living
Federal Land Communities (FLC) is a collection of master-planned, multi-use developments for the new era. Anchored on versatility and purposeful design, Federal Land Communities are envisioned to provide a productive and holistic living experience by giving access to livelihood, tourism, outdoor recreation, local culinary and crafts, and clever space planning that go beyond limiting possibilities in place today.
The thoughtfully-executed Federal Land Communities properties were designed to be multi-functional. Intended to go further than the mixed-use concept, it provides a more thoughtful approach to the use of open space, as different areas in an estate can be deliberately designed to support multiple uses. This is in contrast to mixed use estates that employ zoning to assign specific functions to areas such as residential, commercial, or industrial.
